Zero Waste Awareness In Young People – 1 – 9 September 2022 (EN)

Rasing and therefore the total consumption is increasing and consequently there is an increase in the amount of solid waste produced. Especially since the 1970s, wastes have become a common problem and an important factor in environmental pollution. Recycling or recycling of waste as useful raw material for the next use is very important for the protection of declining natural resources. “Zero Waste yönetim is a management philosophy aimed at efficient use of limited natural resources, prevention / minimization of waste generation, collection of waste materials separately at source, recycling and recycling and recycling of wastes. The overall objective of the project is to increase the knowledge of young people regarding the importance of solid waste problem in young people and the importance of separating wastes at source.

Project goals
  • TO GIVE YOUNG PEOPLE WASTE EDUCATION AND MOTIVATION
  • TO TEACH THE PARTICIPANTS THE VALUE OF WASTE MATERIALS AND FIND SOLUTIONS TO THE WASTE PROBLEM
  • TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT EXCESSIVE AND UNCONTROLLED CONSUMPTION IN PARTICIPANTS

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be proficient in the English language
  • You must be resident in the Netherlands, or in possession of a Dutch identity document
  • You must be in possession of a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
  • You must be willing to be filmed during the sessions and workshops of the activities
  • And be an open-minded person who can work together in a group
  • The form below must be completed.
