Digital World

“Digital World’’ is an international youth exchange, hosted by the Romanian youth TAB Association which involves 42 youngsters from six youth organizations of European Union countries: Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Hungary and Spain.


The project idea comes from the consideration that European youngsters societies are becoming more open and diverse day by day, especially with new trends and media environment of the European Union. Despite of these changes,some part of the youngsters remain behind, and still they do not have the capacity better utilize the new technology at their fingertips.

Objectives of the project:


  • to develop youngsters skills at utilizing the informational resources of the internet
  • to be able to better communicate via new media with the whole world
  • to close the distances between cultures via electronic means of communication and
  • to increase the confidence of youth by showing them what they can do with just a little training
  • to spread awareness among local communities about the importance of digital literacy
  • to create digital magazine guidelines and video material about the impact of ditigal knowleadge and increased opportunities of the underprivileged.
  • to Promote the sense of civic responsibility, social inclusion and tolerance towards minorities;
  • to improve the abilities of young participants in order to enhance communication skills and self-esteem;
  • to enhance intercultural participation and competences of youth about cultural heritage.

There are a few requirements to participate:


  • Participants must be at least 18 years old / between 18 and 30 years old.
  • You must be proficient in the English language
  • You must be living in the Netherlands or be in possession of a Dutch proof of identity.
  • You must be in possession of a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
  • You must be willing to be filmed during the sessions and workshops of the activities
  • And to be a broad-minded person who can work together in a group
