Enjoy as a volunteer improving your enviroment

With this project we propose a leisure alternative to the sedentary lifestyle of today, an alternative to spending the day hooked to the telephone or the playstation, a way of understanding free time as a precious time that can be used to add to our societies and to enjoy away from the consumerist and lazy leisure in which this society is involved. We will develop this alternative. We will develop this alternative in the form of a Youth Exchange in order to achieve the objectives down below

Project objectives
  • To provide participants with leisure resources away from consumerism and sedentary lifestyles, offering them a range of activities that make them enjoy and be an active part of society.
  • To bring them closer to volunteering, to solidarity with society, to introduce them to very different associations where they can enjoy and develop as active and committed people (as well as learning and gaining skills and experience).
  • To make participants aware of the reality and social fabric of the communities in which they live, so that, according to their interests, they can carry out voluntary work there, helping them to become active people in their environment.
  • To create a network of digital connections improving their competences and skills where they can share the results obtained and continue the work after the exchange.
  • To create a documentary of the project where the participants contribute with editable material and to be able to show it both in our dissemination network and in the media of our localities.
  • To get to know different cultures, through the cultural evenings by countries and through the coexistence in multi-country work teams.
  • To get to know the Youthpass certificate by making the participants aware of its importance, their ability to individualise their own certificate, and its possibilities of exploitation.
  • To introduce the European Voluntary Service as a possible option for the participants, being an activity very much in line with the topics to be dealt with and a real possibility where to exercise the proposed topics in the near future.
