Development of STEAM Education in Schools-EDUSIMSTEAM
The “Development of STEAM Education in Schools-EDUSIMSTEAM” KA3 project, which is one of the 27 European-scale projects that will be supported as the European Commission’s central project, aims to provide students and students with algorithmic thinking skills. Within the scope of the project where YEĞİTEK takes place as a coordinator, a robotic education platform will be designed to be developed in an online simulation environment with 10 partner institutions from 6 countries. yeğitek the partnership project involving the coordinating institution of the project, METU Turkey and Robots, The Netherlands from Both Social, Ireland from h2learning and Blackrock Education Center, Lithuania Kaunas University of Technology Vilnius University, Portugal CTE Academy and the Spanish Ministry of Education It occurs. The main priority of the project, to be carried out between 2019-2022, is the development of innovative and multi-disciplinary approaches in STEAM education.
In project scope:
- A teacher education framework will be prepared for STEAM,
- Learning scenarios will be developed,
- An innovative and simulation based platform will be developed for STEAM Education,
- Guidelines will be prepared for policy makers.
