Alternative Contexts for the use of InnovativeTools

We believe there is a clear need to diversify, challenge and improve approaches in the learning methods and tools used. So we examined the trends that interest young people today and that can be combined to encourage meaningful and engaging learning experiences:

  • Internet is a lifestyle: the use of ICT is widespread among children from an early age when they access technology at home, at the home of friends or relatives and at school;
  • Visual learning is a powerful and engaging approach;
  • People with autism and other developmental disabilities often have difficulty communicating verbally but have strong visual skills.

Objectives of the project:

  • We will try to create alternative contexts for the use of innovative and inclusive online and offline tools for young people. The aim of the project is to support the quality work of young people towards integrating young people with intellectual difficulties (disabilities) into learning activities in Europe.

Other objectives:

  • develop the capacity and motivation among 25 young workers from 11 partner organizations to use innovative and inclusive online and offline tools and methods to facilitate learning and learning process engagement for young people with autism spectrum disorder, mild intellectual disabilities and ADHD / ADD;
  • raise awareness and increase the capacity among the 25 participants to use the opportunities of the Erasmus Plus program in order to develop organizational capacity and promote quality inclusion projects for young people with intellectual disabilities;
  • Increase cooperation in the field of inclusion at European level by facilitating the capacity building of 11 organizations.
